All claims and underwriting are handled at Head Office and not at branch level, in order that we have complete control over policies being issued and claims being reported and settled. This allows everything to be monitored by head office which cuts out any incorrect policy issuing or possible fraudulent claims.

As a short-term insurance policyholder, or prospective policyholder, you have the right to the following information:

    1. Legal status and any interest in the insurer You, as our client, have the right to the following information from your broker:
      1. Legal status of the broker. (Private Company with limited liability with no direct financial interest in the insurer. This intermediary receives less than 30% of its total commission from the insurer.)
      2. Whether your broker has a shareholding in excess of 10% with any insurer. (This intermediary does not have a shareholding in excess of 10% with any insurer)
      3. Whether the broker has placed business in excess of 30% with any insurer in the preceding year.(This intermediary has not placed business in excess of 30% with any insurer in the preceding year)
      4. Detail as to whether the broker is an associated company of the insurer. (This intermediary is not an associated company of the insured)
    2. Your broker must advise you whether they have professional indemnity insurance in force. (This intermediary is in possession of professional indemnity insurance)


  1. Claims are to be instituted and managed as follows:
    Should you have a claim against your policy, please do the following:
    1. Notify our claims department at the above address or by telephone on the above number.
    2. A Claim form will be handed to you, or faxed to you, or posted to you according to your instruction. Complete this form and return it to us at the above address, or fax it to us at the above fax number. Our claims department will then attend to your claim.
    3. Should you have any difficulty, kindly contact our claims department and someone will assist you.
  2. Commission payable:
    12.5% for motor; 20% for any other class of business.
